in a world of disaster, hunger, and oppression... Millions of people lack access to sustainable food sources, clean water, sanitation, education, and opportunity. For 75 years, 'One Great Hour of Sharing' has provided Presbyterians a way to share God’s love with our neighbors in need around the world.
The money collected from the One Great Hour of Sharing goes to help people in our country and countries all over the world: • People who are recovering from natural disasters like hurricanes or floods or human-caused disasters like school shootings • People who are hungry and need sustainable food resources • People are aren’t treated fairly or need assistance in creating a better future for themselves and their family.
As a fun way to raise money for OGHS, RPC collects coins, cash, and checks in cardboard Fishbanks each spring. This year's collection will run from March 5 - April 20th, 2025. Be sure to grab your Fishbank then!
