We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is God. He became God in human flesh and lived among humanity before he obediently went to the cross to be crucified as the redeeming sacrifice for our sins. Because of Christ's faithful actions, we can be reconciled to God.
We believe in the mystery of the Trinity. God is One. God is Three. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the written Word of God is authoritative and infallible. We are governed by it and believe it tells the true Good News of God's redemption from Genesis through Revelation.
Yes! We believe that sin is real and must be seriously addressed. It is what separates us from God. Sin is missing the mark of what pleases God. It's still sin, even it we are off by just a little. God desires us to be holy and anything less is an affront to Him. But . . . (see "Reconciliation")
God in His grace and understanding of our fallen humanity made a way for us to be forgiven of our sin through the death and resurrection. of Jesus Christ. This is the Good News we find in all of Scripture.
We believe that the church is the Body of Christ. We exist to be His hands and feet in the world. We exist to share the good news with those who haven't heard. We exist to be the community of faith God desires to use to transform the world.
We happen to align with Reformed theology and choose as our tribe to be part of A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians, (ECO) https://eco-pres.org/
